FREELANCING

HELPING OTHER FLORISTS TO SUCCEED

Before I started doing my business full-time in 2018, I was a freelance florist for about two years and briefly worked in a retail flower shop. Even after I started my business I’ve continued to freelance from time to time. Now, I have returned to my roots and started to only freelance for other floral designers.

I have learned a great deal about efficiency and productivity around the field of floral design. From small-scale events to fast-paced luxury design studios, the dynamic changes greatly.

I'm really good at reading the room and taking initiative. If there is nothing else to do, I will pick up a broom and make myself most useful.

My passports (USA & Finland) are up to date. I will always travel with my own tools, dress comfortably in black, and wear close-toed shoes (no accidents are wanted!). I won't leave home without a large bottle of water or snacks; because everyone knows, snacks are how you make friends with busy floral designers :)

Why I love to Freelance? As an independent contractor, I have the freedom to create my own schedule. I like to leave plenty of time to spend with my family and not bring work home with me.
