Lummé Creations is a boutique floral design studio catering to the modern couple. We are based in Denver, Colorado, but we take our service where ever we are needed, even abroad. We pride ourselves as excellent communicators and we love working with out-of-state clients who are planning a destination wedding/event in Colorado.
We believe that flowers are a beautiful way to incorporate color and texture into your wedding. They capture the power of love and romance unlike any other element of décor. Inspired by nature, we love creating refined and feminine arrangements with touches of whimsy and wildness.
The word Lumme (Water Lily) comes from Finland, and it symbolizes beauty and purity, and it is the source of creativity.
BEHIND THE BLOOMS
Laura was born and raised in Finland. With a passion for travel and learning from other cultures, her quest for a little adventure took her to the United States.
Her background in hospitality and event management along with her high regard for professional service has quickly built her career as a recognized wedding florist in Colorado.
Her designs often stem from her love of all things nature along with her craving for color and an abundance of dreamy textures. She loves using roses, dahlias and other feminine and sometimes unexpected materials to keep things elegant yet interesting!
Any form of outdoors is her happy place and when she’s ‘out of office’, you’ll likely find Laura walking out and about with her husband, Sean, her daughter Lumi and their beloved German Shepherd ‘Jax’ and Akita 'Hana' or hopping on a plane to explore another culture (and smelling the fresh ocean air).
One of her favorite aspects of this job is the concierge-style experience she gives to each and every client, starting from hearing their love stories and envisioning the stunning florals she could create to enhance their special day.
